 Kalaya Pongsathorn จะมาร่วมเล่นฟลูต และยังเป็นนักฟลูตหญิงคนแรกของวงฟลูตของเราอีกด้วย อยากรู้จักเธอให้ดีขึ้น โปรดติดตามใน website ของเรา Siang-Nanachart welcomes Kalaya Phongsathorn in our ensemble as an associate member. She is the first female flutist to join our ensemble. She has been an active flute player to the classical music society in Thailand, as well as exposing herself to the music activities overseas. As a graduate with first class honour degree (gold medal) of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, she was granted a full scholarship from the Austrian Government to study flute at University for Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, with Univ. Prof. Mag. Robert Wolf, the principal flutist of Vienna Symphony Orchestra from 2006-2007. She was a selected member of the Asian Youth Orchestra 2006, an active participant in Julius Baker International Flute Master Class, U.S.A. 2003, and Sir James Galway International Flute Master Class, Switzerland 2004. She also had opportunities to learn from Mr. Claudio Montafia, the principal flutist of Orchestra Regionale Veneta, Italy, and had a master class with world renowed flutist, Robert Aitken in 2009. Kalaya started her flute lessons with Associate Prof. Charunee Hongcharu at the age of nine, and had Mr. Suncheep Vidhayanakorn and Mr. Worapon Kanweerayothin, the principal flutist of Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, as her graduate and post graduate instructors. Appeared as a soloist in the Brandenburg Concertos Concert in 2008, she has continued to perform with Galayani Vhadana Institute Orchestra, Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, and Sawasdee Woodwind Quintet, an ensemble which she and friends founded. Sawasdee Quintet was awarded a semi-finalist prize in TEREM Crossover Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2010 and continues to have frequent performances with growing fans. At present, Kalaya is a guest flute instructor at Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University and the owner of Baanflute music studio where she teaches most of her young students.  We would like to inform you that Pallop Keawpradup returns to our ensemble as an associate member. He will play on Contrabass flute. พัลลภ แก้วประดับ จะมาร่วมเล่นในตำแหน่ง Contrabass Flute. Pallop Keawpradup began playing French horn as his first musical instrument in the saeng thong witthata school Marching Band at the age of 10. In 2000 He had opportunity to join the competition organized by the world Association of Marching Show band in Canada. Later on2003, he started to play Flute and taught by himself. In 2004 he participated in Yamaha Flute competition in Bangkok. In the same year, he was admitted to college of music Mahidol University. Pallop participated in the Mahidol wind symphony, Mahidol symphony orchestra, Mahidol pop orchestra and Mahidol Chamber wind, he was the principal flute in Mahidol wind symphony and Mahidol symphony orchestra, he was selected to the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra and Wind Ensemble (SAYOWE) in 2007, 2008 and 2010, selected to perform at student showcase concert, and has been performing at various concerts and recital. He currently teaches flute at Mahidol University College of music for general public (Siam paragon and Seacon square), The Regent’s international school and Siam Patthana music school. He has successfully graduated from the College of Music Mahidol University in Flute performance. Preparation for the flute festival 03/12/2012

It is Mozart's 256th birthday today, and we have a big news! Subcontrabass has come to Bangkok! It's about 14Kg (17Kg incl. case) and more than 4m long.  Click this photo to see larger image!  Left: Subcontrabass flute in G. Right: Contrabass flute in C. You can see the difference.  One of founding members, Suratachai (Golf) will be on this giant monster flute. Our first concert with this instrument will be on May 6 at Gala Concert of Flute Festival 2012 @ YSTCM in Singapore! If Mozart were still alive, he would like it !? Charity Concert 01/14/2012
 Belated New Year Greetings! We hope all you had a good start into 2012. As some of you may noticed, we, among other groups, are going to perform at the Cecilia Charity Concert for Flood Relief. We'll lead the concert off with 2 flute quartets. Our rehearsal today at Salaya went very well and hope to see many audience there. You can find detailed information here. Thanks for reading our first blog post of this year! สวัสดีปีใหม่ย้อนหลัง! หวังว่าทุกท่าคงพบแต่เรื่องดีๆตั้งแต่ต้นปี 2554 นะครับ อย่างที่หลายๆท่านได้ทราบแล้วว่าวงของเราจะเป็นหนึ่งในหลายๆวงที่แสดงในคอนเสิร์ตการกุศลเพื่อผู้ประสบภัยน้ำท่วมที่จัดโดยซีซิเลียมิวสิค โดยเราจะทำการแสดงบทเพลงสำหรับฟลู้ทสี่ตัว 2 เพลงด้วยกัน การซ้อมของวงเราที่ศาลายาวันนี้เป็นไปได้ด้วยดี และหวังว่าจะมีผู้ชมมาชมการแสดเยอะๆในงานนี้ สามารถตรวจสอบข้อมูลได้ที่นี่ ชอบคุณสำหรับการติดตามข้อความแรกในปีนี้ของพวกเรา! สวัสดีครับ! ในขณะที่พวกเราะกำลังจดจ่อว่าโครงการต่อไปของพวกเราจะทำอะไรดี ทำให้พวกเราเกือบลืมไปแล้วว่าวงของเรานั้นเดินทางมาไกลแค่ไหนแล้ว หากลองมองย้อนกลับไปดู ภาพที่ดูเด่นชัดคือสิ่งต่างๆอันเป็นเสมือนจุดผกผันที่เกิดขึ้นกับวงของเราในปี 2554 ที่ผ่านมา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นชุดการแสดง "ฟลู้ท ไลฟ์!" ของพวกเราที่มีจำนวนผู้ชมมากขึ้นกว่าปีก่อนๆ อีกทั้งแฟนๆที่คอยติดตามพวกเราในเฟซบุ๊คมีจำนวนสูง 588 ท่าน และบริษัทสยามดนตรียามาฮ่า ได้เข้ามาเป็นผู้สนับสนุนหลักให้แก่วงของเรา ในขณะที่ทุกอย่างค่อยๆผันผ่านไปอย่างรวดเร็ว ทำให้พวกเราได้ตระหนักว่า พวกเราคงไม่สามารถมีวันนี้ได้ หากขาดการสนับสนุนจากแฟนๆอันเป็นที่รักทุกท่าน - รวมไปถึงคุณ เราจึงขอใช้โอกาสอันพิเศษนี้ในการกล่าวขอบคุณทุกๆท่านที่เข้าร่วมชมการแสดงและการอบรมฯของพวกเรา อีกทั้งให้การสนับสนุนพวกเราด้วยดีตลอดมา ในปี 2555 ที่กำลังจะมาถึงนี้ ก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งปีที่น่าตื่นเต้นสำหรับพวกเรา มีการแสดงบางส่วนที่ทางเราวางแผนไว้เรียบร้อยแล้วในต้นปีหน้า รวมไปถึงคอนเสิร์ตในต่างแดนเป็นครั้งแรกของพวกเรา เราจะคอยส่งข่าวผ่านทางทวิตเตอร์ เฟซบุ๊ค และเว็บไซต์ของเราอยู่เรื่อยๆ อย่าลืมคอยติดตามนะครับ ในท้ายนี้ พวกเราทุกคนในวงเสียงนานาชาติ ขออาราธนาคุณพระศรีรัตนไตรช่วยดลบันดาลให้ทุกท่านมีสุขภาพแข็งแรง เจริญรุ่งเรืองในหน้าที่การงานยิ่งๆขึ้นไปในปีมะโรง 2555 ที่กำลังจะมาถึงนี้ และหวังว่าพวกเราคงจะได้รับเกียรติให้นำเสนอเสียงเพลงอันไพเราะของเราให้ทุกท่านได้ฟังเป็นของขวัญแด่ทุกท่านในเร็ววัน Siang-Nanachart Holiday Greetings! 12/23/2011
Hello! With the Siang-Nanachart constantly focusing on what's next, it's easy to lose sight of how far we've come. Looking in the rear view mirror, 2011 was clearly a watershed year for us. The "Flute Live!" concert series keep rising the number of audience, we have obtained 588 fans in our facebook page, and Siam Music YAMAHA became our main sponsor. Within this whirlwind of progress, we realize we wouldn’t be where we are today without the continued support of our beloved fans – including you. Special thanks to each of you who visited our concerts and workshops, and gave us words of encouragement. 2012 will also be exciting year for us. Couple of concerts are planned already in the beginning of next year, including our first concert trip abroad. Be sure to visit our twitter, facebook and webpage to check our updates.
