Chanasak Wongweerawinit
Chanasak Wongweerawinit joined the Flute Ensemble Siang-Nanachart in 2010 and is currently Flute instructor at the Bansomdej Chaopraya Rajabhat University and at the College of Dramatic Arts.
He started to play flute at his home town in Khon Kaen and took flute lessons with Kamon Laokam and Decha Teskaew at Khonkaen Wittayayon School.
Later on, he entered the Department of Music Education, Chulalongkorn University and studied flute with Suncheep Vidayanakorn.
From 2005 to 2008, he was selected for the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra and Wind Ensemble (SAYOWE) and also participated in the Silpakorn Summer Music Camp in 2009. While at the University, Chanasak was a member of the Chulalongkorn University Symphony Orchestra, and performed in the GALYANI VADHANA Instutute Orchestra (GVO) and the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (BSO).
Chanasak has been invited to teach flute at the Baan Flute Music Camp, Korat Music Camp and Khonkaen Youth Wind Ensemble. He has also taught flute at Horwang school and Bangkok Christian College.
In December 2009 he was granted a scholarship from the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) to study flute with Michael Faust and Friederike Wiechert at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf, Germany.
